Welcome to CashTrack. This Privacy Policy explains how CashTrack (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our Android expense tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our data practices.

2. Information We Collect

CashTrack does not intentionally collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal details to use its features.

All data you enter into the App — including expense records, categories, and budget settings — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted by the App to any external servers.

Please note: By default, the Android operating system may automatically back up your App data to your personal Google Drive account to allow for data restoration. We (the developer) do not have access to these backups, and you can manage or disable this backup feature at any time through your device’s Android settings.

4. In-App Purchases

CashTrack offers optional premium features available through a one-time in-app purchase. All purchases are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information at any point during the transaction.

When you make a purchase, Google Play may collect and process information such as your payment method and purchase history in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. We receive only a confirmation of whether a valid purchase exists for your account, which is used solely to unlock premium features within the App.

Purchase records may be associated with your Google account as managed by Google Play. We have no access to or control over this data.

5. Third-Party Services

CashTrack uses Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases. Outside of this, the App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or cloud services. No personal data is shared with any third parties beyond what is described in Section 4 above.

6. Internet Access

CashTrack functions entirely offline for its core expense tracking features. The App may connect to the internet solely to verify and process in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. No expense data, categories, or personal information are transmitted during this process.

7. App Permissions

CashTrack does not request or require access to contacts, location, storage, camera, or other sensitive device permissions. The App operates using only the resources necessary to provide local expense tracking functionality.

8. Biometric Authentication

CashTrack offers an optional biometric lock feature. This feature uses your device’s built-in biometric authentication system (such as fingerprint or face recognition). The App does not access, collect, or store any biometric data. All authentication is handled entirely by the device’s operating system.

9. Children’s Privacy

CashTrack does not intentionally collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is designed to be usable by individuals of all ages. If you believe the App may be used by a child in a way that raises privacy concerns, please contact us and we will address the concern promptly.

10. Data Security

Since all data remains on your device, the security of your information depends on your device’s built-in protections, such as screen locks, device encryption, and operating system security features. We recommend keeping your device and its software up to date. CashTrack does not have the ability to remotely access, retrieve, or delete any data stored within the App.

Because CashTrack does not intentionally collect, sell, or share any personal information, there is no personal data to access, delete, or opt out of selling. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

13. European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because CashTrack does not intentionally collect any personal data, there is no data to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. All data you enter remains solely on your device under your full control. In-app purchase processing by Google Play is governed by Google’s own GDPR compliance framework.

14. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
