We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding any data processed during your deep-sea descent.

Snake Abyss is designed to be an offline-first experience that prioritizes user data control. We do not maintain proprietary external servers, require account sign-ups, or request personally identifiable details like your name or email address.

• Local Gameplay Data: Core gameplay variables including your accumulated Pearls, unlocked snake skins, cosmetic items, local high scores, and achievement progression are stored safely and directly on your device via built-in secure local Android preferences frameworks.
• Advertising Data: To provide optional rewarded ads and banner ads, the App integrates Google AdMob. Google may automatically collect and process technical telemetry data, including your IP address, device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), approximate location information, and ad interaction data. Ads are served in compliance with Google's advertising policies.
• Play Games Services (Leaderboards, Achievements, & Cloud Saves): If you choose to sign into Google Play Games Services, the App transmits progression vectors to Google’s secure servers. This includes submitting high scores to global mode-specific leaderboards and using the **Saved Games (Snapshots API)** to securely pack and backup your game profile metrics (Pearls, unlocked items, visual auras, cosmetic configuration preferences) to your personal cloud save slot.
• Daily Depth Seeds: Daily Depth layouts are generated locally on your device based on the system date. No personal profiling metrics are shared or transmitted to handle these layouts.
• Local Notifications: To assist you with streak protection, the App schedules optional local reminders. These notifications execute entirely on-device using Android’s native system background scheduler. No remote push tokens are tracked, collected, or transmitted.

3. Data Storage & Security

• On-Device Storage: Most gameplay configuration settings and progress pools stay locally isolated within your device sandboxed container. We (the developer) have no method to remotely access, alter, or view this data.
• Cloud Synchronization: When authenticated with Google Play Games Services, your backup profiles, global rankings, and cloud achievements are anchored to your active Google profile and are securely managed under Google’s privacy practices.
• Encryption: All external API communications passing through integrated platforms (such as leaderboard score sync, cloud snapshot writes, ad requests, or secure in-app purchase validation) are handled exclusively over secure encrypted connections (HTTPS).

4. Third-Party Services

Snake Abyss integrates the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing: Used for secure in-app purchases such as permanent ad removal. We do not collect, process, or store financial billing details or payment credit cards. All checkout data is managed securely by Google Play.
• Google Play Games Services: Used for global rankings, automated achievement unlock systems, and cloud progression replication. Your gamer profile identifier is scoped under the Google ecosystem according to your account settings.

5. Internet Access

Snake Abyss operates primarily offline. Network data verification layers are used strictly for:

• Loading and rendering platform advertisements
• Processing and validating secure in-app purchases
• Submitting and retrieving dynamic leaderboard rankings
• Synchronizing state snapshots and achievements via Google Play Games Services

6. App Permissions

Snake Abyss operates using a minimal-permissions approach. Depending on your Android system version, the App may request the following optional runtime framework permission:

• Notifications (Android 13+): Requested strictly to display local scheduled alerts for Daily Depth reset structures and streak counters.

The App does not request access to device contact books, precise physical GPS tracking coordinates, camera hardware, microphone arrays, or generic shared external file directories.

7. Children’s Privacy

Snake Abyss does not intentionally collect or extract personal data from children under the age of 13. Global leaderboards identify players entirely through their anonymous Google Play Games profile identifiers as handled by Google Play Games Services.

8. Data Deletion & Control

• Local Data: You can completely wipe your local history file footprints at any time by executing a "Clear Storage/Data" command via your Android application settings layout or by uninstalling the app.
• Advertising Preferences: You can toggle or reset personalization profiling parameters at any time via your Google device settings configuration panels.
• Google Play Games Cloud Data: You can choose to delete your game-specific cloud snapshots, leaderboard scores, or your entire Play Games data profile at any time directly through the Google Play Games standalone application settings.

9. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
